Youth Unemployment

Pretty hectic stats.
Glad I'm not in Spain!

  1. I wonder what is causing these types of trends. Ages 15-24 unemployed. I remember having my job when I was 16. Certainly there has to be an underlying problem. Spain is a beautiful country, I would like to visit.

  4. Depressing, but I think the graph didn't take into account certain factors. Take Croatia as an example, It's mostly a coastal country most of it's income comes from summer tourism. Unemployment there drops during the summer vacation season by 25 to even 40 percent. I think some of the countries on this graph have the same situation.

  5. Well, who would you hire? An older person with work history or some punk kid?

  6. Not everyone in this age group are "punks" Allen! A youth having a job teaches responsibility and builds morale.
